Progression is the key to the future. This is a concept that Intelius holds dear, believing whole-heartedly that, by nurturing the youth of today, a better tomorrow can be ensured.
On May 24, I joined the five winners of the Intelius Student Entrepreneurship Awards at a special Churchill Club panel as they discusses their views of the future. These entrepreneurs and their startups were recognized for the impact that their companies had in the social, technology, marketing, sustainability and marketing categories.
As I said at the event, "young entrepreneurs are behind some of today’s most successful companies, effectively leveraging emerging technology and playing a critical role in driving it forward."
While its easy to talk about changing the world, these brilliant young minds are actually doing it by creating groundbreaking new companies and technologies.
This year’s winning, student-run companies include Leonar3Do, Givology, PowerFlower Solar, BPG Motors and GoodCrush.
In addition to supporting business ventures, I am also committed to supporting the arts, both locally and nationwide. Intelius recently made a $100,000 donation to the Performing Arts Center Eastside. The contribution will go towards the construction of a 2,500-seat concert hall.
